Question by me_unlike_you: What kind of tea do we typically drink in America? On the east coast at least, most tea in stores is usually just labeled as "tea" and most restaurants all seem to serve the same kind of tea, but what kind is it? Does it have a specific name? Best answer:

In most stores and restuarants it's usually referred to as "black cut". Some of the better tasting tea is "orange pekoe". And sometimes a mixture of the two.

Whether a tea leaf ends up being called black (fermented), green (unfermented), or Oolong (semi-fermented) is determined during the manufacturing process.

Typical. Look at all the answers all over the place here & only one answer is right. Right? I think, "Gee, look at all the silly amateur experts expressing themselves." They might be right or wrong, most are wrong. I don't know this answer myself. Is the 'correct' answer a consensus? Is anybody's answer here right? Being 'an amateur expert' in some situations could get ya kilt! I'm glad your question about adjusting brakes on a truck - or heart surgery!
