Question by LilyBug: What are some great ideas for a tea party? My little girl is 2 years old and just discovered teas parties. Mostly for the water we substitute for "tea". I'm looking for some great ideas to make the tea party more fun and memorable for her. Anything will be great. Best answer:

cucumber sandwiches or biscotti? also, I would maybe start brushing up on formal etiquette and teach it to her- I loved that stuff when I was little. You could serve the sandwiches or biscotti with some fancy little tongs, and also, dress up, use fancy napkins. so much fun!

My grand kids love a "Hot Chocolate" tea party. Peanut butter on cracker sandwiches. The non-milk drinkers learned to love milk when drinking from a shot glass instead of a soppy cup.

tea is perfect for children -use decaf. serve finger sandwiches & dress up with her friends.
