Question by lovefriction: Trying to find a type of hard candy that I bought in Hawaii in 2004. Please help!? I bought the candy at a grocery store on Oahu in 2004. I think I was in Honolulu, but it could have been in one of the outer suburbs. I don't remember if the store was a chain or not, but I remember it being fairly large in size. The bag was white with black letters. I know it had Japanese and English writing on the package. I remember the label saying something like "Apple Tea" or "Green Apple Tea". The candy itself is a light brown, dark yellowish color. There were many in a bag and the individual candies were not wrapped separately. Each candy was in the shape of a ball, about the size of a marble. I have not been able to find this candy anywhere including online - mainly because I can't remember the name. I'm hoping someone who lives in Hawaii knows what I'm referring to and can help me out with the name of the candy, the company who makes it, and if possible, where I can buy it. Best answer:

My ex was from Hawaii and he used to get some of the treats from the Asian markets. They actually have a lot of different things there but not all of it. I would try there. If not, look for local Hawaiian Markets. I don't know where you live, but there is several in the Bay Area.
